VITAMIN INJECTIONS

VitB12 can be safely and quickly administered via an intramuscular (IM) injection at a medically approved and appropriate dose.  These injections are available at Clinig Corff Ystwyth following a thorough consultation.

The form of B12 given is hydroxocobalamin.  We only used a UK licensed product which is GP prescribed via the referral system which we use at no extra cost to you.

NHS guidelines recommend a course of injections in order to 'load' your body with B12 if you have some more of the advanced symptoms.  Injections are given every other day for two weeks or until your symptoms begin to improve.  The frequency of the treatment is then reduced until you have achieved sustainable improvement.

HOW DO I KNOW IF THIS IS RIGHT FOR ME?

To get a better idea of your suitability for this treatment we offer a free consultation whereby you complete a short health questionnaire for assessment before having a face-to-face conversation at the clinic to discuss your general health and your current symptoms.

Following this consultation, your referral is sent via our online portal to the GP referrer, who will aim to approve your prescription for the injections within a day or two.

WHY VITB12SHOT?

VitB12Shot and the VitB12 Academy were formed in conjunction with UK medical professionals due to the growing issue of individuals providing Vitamin B12 injections with no control over practices or products being used.

As a leading training provider VitB12 Shot aims to make people considering Vitamin B12 injections aware of the importance of using properly trained technicians and approved products under the control of dedicated UK Doctors and Nurse Prescribers – allowing them to access healthcare professionals where available for an appropriate consultation and medical assessment.
